Hi, the default login password of the web UI is admin, and the wireless password is printed on the back panel of the actual device, which is 8 digits numbers. How to hard reset it: with the router powered on, hold the reset button/hole for 10s until all the leds come on momentarily.
The extender stops working with no changes to the host router. 1. Try rebooting your router and the extender. 2. Ensure that your extender is within range of the router. 3. Ensure that the range extender is not affected by interference from devices such as metal objects, fish tanks, microwaves, Bluetooth devices, and so on. 4.1 – Connect to your TP-Link network. First you’ll need to connect to your TP-Link network. You can connect using Wifi or an Ethernet cable. It’s okay if you don’t have internet access. Step 2. Once inside the admin panel, navigate to Basic and then click Wireless. Thereon, select Wireless Network Name and type the name. Enter your new password into the designated field and hit Save to finish up. Your router will need to restart for the changes to take effect. .
